‘AN UNCHAINED SISTERHOOD’ IS A COLLECTION CREATED TO LIBERATE AND ENCOURAGE THE SUPPORT OF OPPRESSED WOMEN OF COLOUR ACROSS THE WORLD. IT AIMS TO BE WORN BY STRONG WOMEN OF FAITH AND THE EVER-GROWING MASSES OF HIGHLY TALENTED AND EMPLOYABLE FEMALE MUSICIANS, DJS, AUTHORS, ACTIVISTS AND CREATIVES.
This collection is particularly inspired by female DJs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and women of which have faced years of ancient regime, political cruelty and strict rules that have challenged their freedom because of gender. This chosen concept originates from a strong belief in promoting women empowerment and increased employability across the creative industry, through creating clothing that highlights confidence and encourages forward thinking females around the world. It aims to shine a light on the beauty and education of other cultures to recognise under-rated talents through engaging surface print designing.
