Karolyn Waddington
A menswear collection for AW18 inspired by the ongoing issues of gentrification and homelessness in the Mission District within San Francisco. Influenced heavily by duvets seen carried by the homeless population within the area, the collection conveys the concept of warmth, layering and storage for those who may find themselves on the streets. By incorporating the vibrancy and eclecticism of the city the collection is intended to send a thought provoking message through the use of colourful bold text and print.
