The inspiration for this collection was founded from a fascination of the beauty, form and intricacy of natural living things, and how the laws of nature create incredible unrivalled designs. The concept is focused on Biomorphism, an art movement which models artistic design elements on naturally occurring patterns or shapes reminiscent of nature and living organisms. With silhouette influenced by the biological form of the human body, this collection experiments with structures inspired by skeletal forms such as cage-like frameworks and exoskeletons, where reinforced boned structures are exposed to emphasise the idea of seeing under the surface of the body, appearing almost as a dissection.
