Rebecca Graham
what you see is what you get
I am a womenswear designer with a primary focus in print design. I am not afraid of clashing colours and prints to create something beautiful. In my four years at university, I have learnt the fundamentals of fashion including research and design, pattern cutting and garment construction. As a print student, one of my many focus points is pattern and surface design, every texture and print I look at I think of potential outcomes in my own print design, therefore working with a wide range of media has massively inspired my colour and print development. I have had experience at both high end and high street designers. I have an eye for precise details and accuracy. I am very keen and I am looking for an opportunity in the fashion industry as a womenswear designer.
‘What you see is what you get’ FMP COLLECTION
This Ready To Wear Spring/Summer19 collection is a visual representation of positive expression
It challenges comfort zones and questions. How do you portray yourself? Is what you see what you get? I will be focusing on happiness and excitement, celebrating positive thoughts. What do you like? What do you treasure the most? Encouraging today’s millennial’s to be comfortable in their own skin. Versatile and vibrant garments which can be styled together to clash beautifully. A heavily printed collection inspired by feelings and imagination with doodles and colours which signify moods and gaging facial expressions in an illustrative way. This collection will sit with the likes of MSGM and Richard Quinn as a luxury brand.
