Looking at how compulsive collectors create a put-together illusion to the outside world when in actuality their home is overgrown with unimportant items that ‘could change their lives’. Gaining excessive attachments to objects and feeling a sense of responsibility for peoples discarded rubbish. ‘In the eye of the beholder’ is an in depth exploration in to compulsive collectors and asking the question of what is normal when it comes to collecting?
