FEELING BLUE
Stories and nostalgic memories are my main source of inspiration in my work, due to this my love for print design can be explored using my distinctive illustration style. I am confident with using and balancing colour combinations, and do so throughout my work.
My graduate collection explores my childhood diary entries. Using the stories, I wrote about, I had the chance to be playful with my prints. Using a more graphic illustration style, I was able to create a playful body of work that represented my memories in a fun and nostalgic way while using subtle and tonal colours to keep the collection looking fresh.
The collection encourages silliness and is very much a representation of what I believe is important to remember in day to day life.
